Media Studies involves learning about the way the world is presented to us through the many and varied forms of the media. You can expect to look at various platforms such as television, film, music, radio, the print industry, websites and video games. The course not only requires an ability to analyse texts in detail, but also provides opportunities for practical media production. As such, the course provides you with the foundation skills that are extremely useful to A-Level subjects such as English Language, Sociology, ICT and, of course, Media Studies.
