This Unit Award Scheme in Practical Workshop Skills is available only to students choosing a course at UCM. Students opting for this subject will have the opportunity to design and construct a variety of products, using wood, metal and electronics. Although this course does not lead to a recognised qualification, students will receive a certificate for each unit completed, which can be submitted into their record of achievement. Pathways: Joiner, electrician, carpenter, builder.
